Mujeres
Los Kunas tienen una sociedad Matriarcal, y es allí la importancia de la mujer en nuestra cultura: 
la mujer árbol, la mujer pez, la mujer serpiente, la hermana, la madre – la creadora de la vida y mi primera maestra de arte que con cortes y puntadas crea su mola.  Cada Kuna es un poeta o pintor.

Women
Kuna society is a matriarchal one, and this speaks to the importance of women in our culture: 
the tree woman, the fish woman, the snake women, the sister and the mother – the mother, giver of life and my first art teacher who created her molas with snips and stitches.  Every Kuna is a poet or a painter.
